Tootsie Williams

Worship leader, songwriter, and singer has served as Praise and Worship Leader at the Pilgrim Cathedral of Harlem under the late Bishop Charles J. Reed, and at Crenshaw Christian Center New York, under the late Apostle Frederick K.C. Price, where she also served as choir director.

Currently, she attends Overflow Christian Center under Pastor Billy Marshall Jr. and his wife Paula Marshall, serving with the music ministry and leadership team. It was during the times of service to these ministries that her skills were honed and sharpened to write and lead.

An alumnus of The renowned Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music & The Arts, vocal major, Tootsie sang with a few gospel choirs and groups, notably as a member of James Hall and Worship & Praise (Generation One), Ray Harper and the Reign With Him Ensemble, to name a few.

She was a cast member of the Off-Broadway production of “Promises of Gold” and has traveled to São Paulo, Brazil, Canada, and throughout the United States to minister in song. Tootsie has had the pleasure of writing and working on music for the debut CD of Paula Marshall, titled “The Heart of a Psalmist” on independent record label Overflow Entertainment, and “Breathe on Me” for Jazz pianist Stephen Lee on his debut release  “Music in the Key of My Life”.

Tootsie is the wife of  Wolf Williams, who is also the producer for many of her songs. She is the mother of two incredible boys, Averi and “The Baron”, they reside in Upstate NY.

As she turns another page in this journey called life, The Lord has called her to take a step of faith and finally show everyone what she has been working on in the “shed”. It is with great hope that people who encounter her work will be inspired, encourage and see God in a different way.
